Britney Robbins
Britney Robbins is a serial social entrepreneur that loves innovation, forward thinking and is constantly identifying problems that can be solved through business creation. She's worked within Chicago's entrepreneurship and tech community for the past nine years working within some of Chicago's top venture capital firms and incubators including Sandbox Industries, Cleveland Avenue, Lightbank and 1871.

In 2016, she started The Gray Matter Experience - a non-profit dedicated to unlocking the self-determining power of Black youth and strengthening their ties to community through real world experience in entrepreneurship. They have since served over 700 Chicago youth in this mission, awarded over $95,000 in seed funding and helped to launch 9 teen-run businesses. She has been recognized as one of Ariel Investment, BMO Harris and WVON's 40 Under 40 Gamechangers, Essence Magazine's Woke 100, a finalist for Ebony Magazine's Power 100 People's Choice Award, featured on Fox32, Chicago Inno,, DNAInfo Chicago, Chicago Tribune, and Essence Magazine for her work through Gray Matter. Most recently, she's been named as one of the 26 Most Influential, 20 Most Inspiring Chicagoans and one of The Chicago Defender's Women of the Year for 2021.

Ashlee Piper
Ashlee Piper is a sustainability expert, author, speaker and media personality whose work has been featured on 250+ television segments, including The TODAY Show, Good Morning America, and CNN, and in VOGUE, The Washington Post, InStyle, and NY Magazine, to name a few. Piper believes in the power of our individual habits and creating the ideal conditions for anyone to make small, sustainable shifts. Piper recently published her bestselling book, Give A Sh*t: Do Good. Live Better. Save the Planet. to much critical and celebrity acclaim, branding it the 'sustainability Bible.' She's consulted on sustainability practices with well-known companies such as airbnb, LUSH, Nissan, and Eileen Fisher, has been a cabinet level advisor to two Massachusetts Governors, and has spoken at the United Nations and TED. She holds a BA from Brown University and a Masters degree in Evidence-Based Social Intervention from the University of Oxford, UK.

Tech + Music: Chicago Public Schools
In this session you will learn how to create your own music using by writing code! This session will require you to follow along and code alongside me as we explore the different ways to create a beat, song, and rhythm. Not musically talented? No problem! Neither am I, and I've been able to come up with some really fun songs. Don't know Python? Also, not a problem! We start with the basics. Hope to see you in my session!
Tech + Healthcare/Panel: IBM

In addition, the global COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the need for digital reinvention and adoption of cutting-edge healthcare technology solutions. You can see it everywhere... Telemedicine technology and patient portals provide more ways for people to communicate with health professionals. Wearable technology, like heart monitors, also gives clinicians more ways to evaluate the well-being of their patients and provides them with more options to record and evaluate symptoms as patients go about their lives. With computers and the internet being the backbone of our lives today, cybersecurity is fundamental to keeping ourselves safe in the digital world. In this session, you will get an introduction to the essentials for and implications of cybersecurity and data privacy from Prof. Sruti Bhagavatula, who researches and teaches security and privacy at Northwestern University. We will also talk about what research and teaching security and privacy looks like as a career pathway.
